There are two types of nozzles: flat and wide spray tips. These nozzles are ideal for pinpoint spray shaping, allowing for precise particle focus and minimizing solution waste. With these nozzles, coating control becomes possible, easily adapting to applications that require thin and uniform application. This nozzle is lightweight, making it attractive for use in robotic coating systems. The nozzle is available in a lightweight black aluminum case (custom-made) or a stainless steel case with a stainless steel inner feed tube. The micro feed tube can be used for microliter capacities and is available in stainless steel and PTFE. The nozzle can utilize a spray shaper for pinpoint spraying, providing better control over your coating applications.

Ultrasonic waves are transmitted to the nozzle through the vibration of piezoelectric ceramics, vibrating the liquid film to form and spray fine particles. Particles (droplets) formed by the ultrasonic spray nozzle are broken up by the vibration of the piezo element. In other words, unlike pressurized systems, the particles do not have speed. As a result, they either fall naturally or become suspended due to the influence of wind. Therefore, carrier air is used to transport the formed particles for application.

Low Flow Ultrasonic Spray Nozzle (Atomizer) The low flow spray nozzle (atomizer) manufactured by Sonia is designed to apply droplets (particles) of various viscosities in micron and submicron sizes without over-applying them to small parts. The nozzle shape comes in two types: flat and wide nozzle tips. It is suitable for concentrated application using an ultrasonic spray nozzle and a pinpoint air transport device (custom order) or for transporting very small droplets (particles). These spray nozzles can be easily applied to applications requiring controlled coating and uniform films. The spray nozzle is lightweight and ideal for coating systems using robots. The main body of the spray nozzle is made of stainless steel. *Custom micro feed tubes are suitable for low flow application and are available in stainless steel or PTFE fluororesin. The spray nozzle can be equipped with a spray shaper for pinpoint spraying or a wider spray for better coating control. *Micro feed tubes are optional items.
